The Westbury UMC interior renovation is the first constructed portion of a multi-phase renovation project the church is planning. This phase focused on the interior corridor providing a larger area to pass from the parking area and into the sanctuary. The space planning also brought the main office’s reception area closer to the building’s entrance. This was previously unceremoniously tucked into the building’s interior hallway. Additional to the new gathering area a large seating space was provided at the end of the corridor; this reclaimed space was an underutilized storage room. The 3,600 square foot interior renovation included new flooring and ceiling finishes, specialty lighting, and custom millwork pieces.
