Sara Harpole joined Brave/Architecture in May of 2019. She is a proud alumna of The University of Texas at Austin. She is a LEED Green Associate and loves to investigate the sustainable initiatives in the office. Previously, Sara worked in Dallas and spent her residency in Brooklyn on hospitality and healthcare projects. Sara thrives by creating spaces of healing that focus on the needs of the users. Her interest in landscape, urbanism and interior design influence her work to create integrative, meaningful experiences.
While at university, she studied at the McCombs Summer Institute to strengthen her passion for business and economics. She served as the president of the UT chapter of Alpha Rho Chi, the National Professional Fraternity for Architecture and the Allied Arts. Additionally, Sara attended the Study in Italy program with the UT School of Architecture in Castiglion Fiorentino. Her travels have taken her to Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
In her free time, Sara paints watercolors ranging from landscapes to building details. She enjoys exploring the exhibits at Houston’s wonderful museums and lounging in the Texas sun.
